For the first time in his career, Jason Campbell took all the snaps with the first team offense in consecutive days at practice, according to the Washington Post. The Redskins have a bye this week and starter Mark Brunell isn't supposed to practice because of sore ribs. It's possible, though, that the 'Skins could be getting Campbell ready just in case he has to replace Brunell, who has been widly inconsistent this season. "I don't know if it means anything, but it's just good to get out there and be on the field," Campbell said. "It's one thing to read the plays and study the plays, and another to actually execute them, to do it and try to develop a rhythm for the offense."

Reading between the lines, the Redskins probably don't feel comfortable with Campbell leading the offense unless he's had a full week of practice snaps.

The Washington Post reports that Jason Campbell will most likely be the third-string quarterback for the Redskins this season. Todd Collins appears to have won the backup job.
