Vincent Jackson is battling a sore hamstring and was added to the injury report as probable Thursday, according to the North County Times. Assuming Jackson doesn't have any sort of a setback Friday, he should be on the field against the Cardinals in a game the Chargers need to secure the top seed in the AFC. Marty Schottenheimer does not believe the injury is serious.

With Erik Parker sidelined with a neck injury, Vincent Jackson had a big game for the Chargers on Sunday. He caught five passes for 97 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner with just 29 seconds left. The Chargers face off against the Cardinals in Week 17; it's not clear whether Parker will be back in the mix for the regular-season finale.

Vincent Jackson has been upgraded to probable for Sunday's game with St. Louis. He's battling a groin injury. The Chargers like to throw to their range wideouts around the goal line - Jackson and Malcolm Floyd have scored this year, while Keenan McCardell and Eric Parker have not - so Jackson at minimum is someone to keep an eye on for the future.

Vincent Jackson said that his lung injury was not serious, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. However, he could miss the rest of the preseason.

Vincent Jackson sustained a chest injury during Saturday's exhibition game and has been in a hospital since, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. He should be released by today. "He is still in the hospital, but everything seems to be going smoothly,” said coach Marty Schottenheimer.
