Brandon Jones seems to be safe from any team discipline, e.g. release, stemming from his arrest for a possession of a handgun at the Nashville International Airport earlier in the month, this according to Rototimes sources.

Head coach Jeff Fisher met with receiver Brandon Jones, who faces a misdemeanor charge for unlawful possession of a handgun after trying to carry the weapon through a security checkpoint at Nashville International Airport, according to the Tennessean. "We are responsible for the choices that we make and sometimes we lose track of things," Fisher said. "He is embarrassed and will hopefully be able to put this thing behind him."

Brandon Jones was arrested and cited at Nashville International Airport on Friday for carrying a loaded .32 caliber gun in his baggage, this according to the Tennessean. Jones was arrested at around 11:40 a.m. and charged with a misdemeanor citation of unlawful possession of a firearm, however, there must have been some circumstances because authorities released Jones and allowed him to proceed on a flight to Phoenix.

Brandon Jones has big-play ability, but just needs to concentrate, according to the Tennessean. Mike Heimerdinger said, "Brandon makes a big play every day, but he has to block in the run and he has to be consistent catching the ball. He cant make a mental mistake every day. He has to keep concentrating. He has a good feel for things, but he cant space out and has to catch the ball and not make mental mistakes."

Brandon Jones has been ruled out of Sunday's game, according to the Tennessean. The wide receiver is dealing with a groin injury and has just 21 catches for 248 yards on the season.
