Brandon Jones is now considered a clear-cut starter with David Givens out for the year. Jones hasn't done much with limited playing this in 2006, catching 12 passes for 128 yards and one touchdown. He's had just two catches over the last three games.

Brandon Jones was able to practice the last two days despite his sore chest and should be fine for Sunday's game with Houston. He's still listed as questionable but head coach Jeff Fisher is more conservative with his injury report listings than most.

Titans coach Jeff Fisher said that Brandon Jones injured his chest when he fell on the football during yesterday's game, according to the Tennessean. Jones caught three passes for 34 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game. The Titans are off for Week 7, so hopefully Jones will be ready to go next week.

Starting in place of the injured David Givens, Brandon Jones led the Titans with three catches for 40 yards on Sunday. Jones will get at least a few more starts, though his fantasy value may be limited given Vince Young's problems passing the ball.
October 6, 2006
Brandon Jones will start at receiver for the Titans this week, taking the spot of David Givens (thumb). Jones was having a solid rookie year last season before a serious knee injury knocked him to the sidelines (and forced surgery). As for Givens, he's going to be out several weeks.
September 10, 2006
With Courtney Roby inactive for the Titans today, Brandon Jones should be the No. 3 receiver. Jones has made a strong recovery from reconstructive knee surgery.
August 9, 2006
The Titans took Brandon Jones off the PUP list Monday, and he returned to practice, though he was limited, according to the Tennessean. Jones is recovering from reconstructive knee surgery and said he's about "75-80 percent."
August 7, 2006
The Nashville City Paper reports that Brandon Jones could come off the PUP list today and begin limited workouts. Jones is still recovering from reconstructive knee surgery and will likely be no better than the No. 4 receiver for the Titans when the season begins.
July 26, 2006
Brandon Jones is expected to be placed on the physically unable to perform-active list, according to the Nashville Tennessean. He is recovering from a torn ACL.
June 24, 2006
The Tennessean reports that Brandon Jones missed mini-camps due to the torn ACL that ended his rookie season, but he should be ready for training camp. "He is ahead of schedule right now," coach Jeff Fisher said. "He will participate in training camp, and our hope is that he will be able to take some snaps — this is premature — by maybe the third or fourth preseason game."
