The Chargers website reports that Norv Turner will watch Darren Sproles reps in practice this week in hopes to keep him fresh for round two of the playoffs. "He was absolutely exhausted, Turner said.

January 3, 2009
Darren Sproles carried the Chargers in Saturday's 23-17 overtime win over the Colts, as he broke loose for 105 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries. He also made five receptions for 45 yards.

Chargers back Darren Sproles would see most of the carries if the injured LaDainian Tomlinson is unable to play this weekend, according to the Sporting News Today.

Darren Sproles may be out of the Chargers' price range at the end of the season, according to ProFootballWeekly.com. Even if Sproles does return, the Chargers are looking to add a running back through the draft.
