Titans head coach Jeff Fisher said that Roydell Williams was excused from practice on Thursday for personal reasons. Fisher said that Williams was expected to rejoin the team before Friday.

Roydell Williams plans to play this week despite his broken right pinkie finger, according to the Nashville City Paper. "The doctors said I can't do anything more to it by playing," said Williams, who admits there is still pain in the hand. Williams had the pin removed from his hand, but there are still six screws and a plate in there.
