Roydell Williams wont participate in organized team activities Thursday and Friday when the Tennessee Titans begin their workouts, according to the Nashville City Paper. Williams sustained a broken right ankle on the indoor practice facility surface in January during the Titans week of preparation for the AFC Divisional Playoffs against Chargers and underwent surgery to repair the injury, a cracked bone at the base of his tibia, a short time later. Screws and a plate were inserted during surgery to aid the healing process.

Roydell Williams broke his right ankle at Wednesday's practice and is out for the balance of the playoffs, the AP reports. "There's no damage to the ligaments, no damage to the tendons," head coach Jeff Fisher said. "It was peculiar in that he cracked it, a significant crack at the base of the tibia. It's going to require a plate and screws to be repaired." The Titans also lost Bo Scaife this week, so their pedestrian receiving corps becomes even more thin entering the Wild Card game at San Diego.
