Jaguars tackle Khalif Barnes received six months of probation for his DUI last November. According to the Florida Times Union, Barnes will also pay a $650 fine and court costs and perform 50 hours of community service. He was also fined by the team last March and suspended by head coach Jack Del Rio for one game. Barnes, who was videotaped insulting the arresting officer and the city of Jacksonville during the arrest, also wrote a letter of apology to the arresting officer. I'm just glad that it's all over and I can focus on playing football, Barnes told the Times-Union. I just want to be playing ball for the city of Jacksonville and hopefully get back to winning games. Barnes will battle Maurice Williams in training camp for a starting spot on the Jaguars offensive line, which paved the way for the third-best rushing attack in the NFL last season.
