LeRoy Hill will not be fined for his vicious helmet-to-helmet hit that sent Buccaneers' receiver Ike Hilliard to the hospital, according to the Tacoma News Tribune.

LeRoy Hill led the defense in Saturday's 29-26 preseason win over the Bears, according to the News Tribune. He racked up four solo tackles, with a sack and an interception. Hill said, "We consider ourselves a play-making defense. Obviously thats what John Marshall, (defensive coordinator) wants us to do. And it shows were in the right position to make plays. Its a preseason game and everything, but it shows where we are at."

The Seattle Seahawks would like to extend the contract of linebacker Leroy Hill, according to ESPN. The Seahawks have $13.9 million of open cap space thats burning a hole in their pocket, and Hill is in the final year of his rookie contract paying him $354,000 in 2008. From 2005-07, Hill has started 38 games on the strong side compiling 245 tackles and 12.5 sacks.

LeRoy Hill sat out practice Thursday after aggravating a sore left shoulder Wednesday, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports. Hill was added to the Seahawks' injury report as questionable.
