Dave Rayner has been waived by the Bengals, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. The team signed guard Andrew Crummey from the Redskins' practice squad as well.

The additions of Charlie Anderson, Reggie Torbor, David Kirkus, Dave Rayner and Boomer Grigsby are expected to significantly upgrade the Miami DolphinsÂ’ special teams units, according to Pro Football Weekly. Last season, the team had problems covering kickoffs - ranking 32nd in kickoff-return differential. Of the previously mentioned players, only Torbor is expected to be a starter, but the others will play key roles on special teams, which provides proof that the front office intends to rebuild the team from the ground up.
