DeAngelo Williams was terrific for the Panthers last week but for some reason wasn't part of the gameplan Sunday, as he was given just two carries and picked up one yard. Williams did have four catches for 45 yards.

When asked if he was hopeful that DeAngelo Williams would be back in the lineup after the bye week, coach John Fox responded, "I'd say the likelihood is more substantial for Tampa Bay than it has been," according to the Panthers' official site. What exactly that means regarding Williams' status for Nov. 13 isn't known. Williams hasn't played since Week 5 because of an ankle injury.

Head coach John Fox has been fairly tight-lipped about the status of all of his injuried players, but context clues tied with some comments the head coach made to last weekend's Fox crew doing the game add up to Williams returning in mid-November.
