Jared Lorenzen sprained his left ankle on Sunday, but he doesn't expect to miss much time. "I should be back (to practice) on Wednesday," he tells the Newark Star-Ledger.

The Giants hope Eli Manning will be able to start at quarterback on Sunday, but if not, head coach Tom Coughlin pointed towards Jared Lorenzen as the likely replacement. "Right now it would be Lorenzen, but Im not ruling anything out. Nothing in, nothing out," Coughlin tells the team's official web site. Anthony Wright is the other quarterback on the roster.
