The Dolphins cut Samkon Gado last week after activating Ricky Williams, but with Williams now out for the season and Jesse Chatman hobbled by ankle and neck injuries, the team is expected to re-sign Gado. According to the Miami Herald, Gado is more likely to start this week than third-string backup Patrick Cobbs, who was the lone running back standing on Monday night after both Williams and Chatman were knocked out of the game.

Samkon Gado was released by the Texans Tuesday, the AP reports. The club obviously can't think too much of Gado, given that Ahman Green and Ron Dayne haven't shown much in 2007.

The Texans re-signed Samkon Gado on Tuesday, according to the Sports Network. Gado, who rushed for 210 yards and a score on 56 carries in 2006, will have a hard time getting much work next year with Ahman Green and Ron Dayne also in the fold.
