Broncos tight end Tony Scheffler went through a full workout on Wednesday. He hurt his knee during the game against Pittsburgh last Sunday. I feel pretty good, Scheffler said. Its a little stiff, but it has healed up pretty good.

Tony Scheffler sprained his left ankle against the Steelers on Sunday night, and X-rays came back negative. He may miss some practice time this week, the Rocky Mountain News reports. The Broncos host the Packers on Monday night in Week 8, and Scheffler would be a decent fantasy play if healthy.

Tony Scheffler had five catches for 50 yards and a touchdown on Sunday. However, he sustained an injury to his left leg during the final drive, according to the Denver Post. We'll have to wait to see how serious the leg injury is, but since the team lost tight ends Nate Jackson and Stephen Alexander for the season and WR Javon Walker is out for at least six weeks, a healthy Scheffler should see plenty more passes coming his way.
