The Falcons would like to get Jerious Norwood more involved in the offense, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Coach Mike Smith said, "Jerious is a very gifted athlete. He can do a number of things. He’s very multi-faceted. He’s an integral part of our football team. It’s not a surprise that he’s had the success that he’s had. When you give him opportunities to get touches he’s made the most of them."

The Falcons are going to use Jerious Norwood in the same type of capacity. Norwood told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that they have imployed some of the same formations.

Norwood said, "Right now, I really don’t know my role. I’m just going to go out and take it easy, and wherever the coach wants to use me, I’ll be willing to do whatever it is they want me to do." He added, "We have a couple of formations where they’ll split me out wide and let me do my thing out wide. I feel that’s one of my greatest assets, going one-on-one in the open field."

Jerious Norwood hasn't seen enough touches the past few years, and as a result the Falcons are considering splitting him out wide at the receiver position, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. "He's a guy that can cause all kinds of problems for defensive coordinators," said Falcons coach Mike Smith. "Not strictly because of his speed but because of the potential matchup problems he can create. Jerious is a special athlete that can do a number of different things."
