The Indianapolis Star reports that Marvin Harrison returned to practice yesterday and should see some playing time in Sunday's game. He is recovering from a broken hand.

Marvin Harrison has yet to practice since fracturing a bone in his right hand against San Diego on Dec. 18, but coach Tony Dungy said Thursday that Harrison might work out today, according to the Indianapolis Star. It's not certain if Harrison will start on Sunday.

The Indianapolis Star reports that Marvin Harrison was excused from practice on Thursday. His status is still up in the air due to a fractured hand. Assistant head coach Jim Caldwell said, "Marvin was excused from practice. We'll determine his status later."

Marvin Harrison missed yesterday's practice due to his fractured hand, according to the Indianapolis Star. "Marvin Harrison is getting fitted for an apparatus for his hand and hopefully will be out here (today) or Friday," said coach Tony Dungy. "I think he's going to be OK." Even if he plays, his role likely will be limited.

Marvin Harrison suffered a non-displaced fracture in his right hand in the first quarter Sunday against the Chargers, according to the Indianapolis Star. He did not leave the game. "We know Marvin heals quicker than anybody this side of Superman,'' team president Bill Polian said, "so I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he plays (in Week 16). But given our druthers, maybe not.'' Harrison's injury normally requires two weeks to heal.
