Travis Wilson believes the time has come for him to step up and prove his worth in a talented Browns' receiving corps, according to ClevelandBrowns.com. Wilson said, "I've taken the last two years as motivation and coming out here this past offseason I had the biggest chip on my shoulder as anyone. I feel like I owe it to Mr. Randy Lerner and Mr. Phil Savage and Coach Romeo. I've got to produce and give them a reason why they picked me on the first day."

Wide receiver Travis Wilson, a third-round pick in the 2006 draft, was one of the bright spots of the spring but might still have a fight on his hands to make the Cleveland Browns roster, according to the Akron Beacon-Journal. "It was time for him to take a step forward, and I think this spring he has taken that step forward," head coach Romeo Crennel said. "He has helped himself considerably."

Travis Wilson is the only holdout of the Browns' 10 draft picks, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "Travis is not signed yet," Browns General Manager Phil Savage said Tuesday. "I do not know when he will be here. They have three clients in the third round, and the other two report this weekend, so this could be ongoing."
