The Eagles have informed wide receiver and return specialist Jeremy Bloom that he will be released on Saturday, the Philadelphia Daily News reports.

Jeremy Bloom has been serving as the kick and punt returner this preseason, but he's failed to impress head coach Andy Reid. "He's done just okay," Reid tells the Philadelphia Inquirer. Bloom has averaged 7.0 yards per punt return and 19.6 yards per kick return.
