It's looking more and more like Todd Collins will beat out Jason Campbell to be the primary backup to starter Mark Brunell, according to the Washington Post. Collins was 13-for-22 and 101 yards, while throwing two touchdowns passes that were dropped last night. "Todd, with a bunch of young guys in there, I thought that was stellar," said coach Joe Gibbs. "After the two touchdown passes that were dropped, I walked over to him on the sideline and said to him, 'That says to me that you've got something inside you.' "

Todd Collins agreed to a two-year, $2.5 million contract with the Redskins on Tuesday, according to the AP. It is expected that Collins will work as the backup behind starter Mark Brunell, replacing Patrick Ramsey, who has been given permission to seek a trade.
