Ernie Sims is ready to take the next step for the Lions' defense, according to MLive.com. Sims said, "There's always more to learn (in the Tampa-2 defense). I'm better, but not all the way. I'm always learning every day. New things are always going to come up. It's one thing to know the defense, but offenses change, too, different schemes happen."
