Michael Bush will not come off the PUP list on Wednesday, and he will end up missing his entire rookie season as he recovers from a broken right leg, the Sacramento Bee reports.

Michael Bush strapped on the pads for the first time in over a year, joining the Raiders scout team during Wednesday's practice. "Went out there and had some fun," Bush told the Oakland Tribune. "I'm in my own little world out there. I was on scout team, but that's better than nothing. I'll take it." Now that he's returned to practice, Bush has 21 days to either be promoted to the active roster or placed on season-ending injured reserve. He's been on the Physically Unable to Perform list all year as he attempts to come back from a broken leg.

The Raiders have not yet cleared Michael Bush for practice, although he is eligible to return this week. He tells the Oakland Tribune that he no longer has any issues with his broken right leg that required multiple surgeries. "I'm still day-to-day, unless someone gets hurt," Bush says. "I knew that going into the season, so this isn't a surprise. It's out of my hands. I can't get down. I could be in a worse situation. If I don't play this year, I just look at it as I saved my body for another year of pounding." The rookie still has decent value in keeper leagues.

Remember Michael Bush? The Raiders rookie is reportedly making progress and impressing his coaches. "He's the lowest he's been at his weight for over a year," head coach Lane Kiffin tells the Oakland Tribune. "He looks great, and he's been buying into our program. He's been great in the weightroom with our staff. He looks really good." Bush opened the season on the PUP list. He broke his right leg on September 3, 2006 and needed multiple surgeries. The latest operation came in March, when he had a steel rod inserted into the leg.

The Raiders have until Saturday to make a decision about Michael Bush. The rookie has been on the PUP list all preseason as he recovers from a broken right leg. He could stay on the PUP, go on injured reserve, or be activated and placed on the 53-man roster. Head coach Lane Kiffin tells the Oakland Tribune that the PUP is the likely option. "Yes, there's a very good chance of that," Kiffin says. "We'll make that final decision next week after (Thursday's) game."

Michael Bush continues to linger on the PUP list and work on the sidelines. The team does not have a timetable for his practice debut. "If you're out here, you see the stuff they put me through, running-wise, and you think, 'Why is he not out there?' But, I feel good every day," Bush tells the Oakland Tribune. The rookie is recovering from a fractured right leg that required multiple surgeries.

Michael Bush was placed on the PUP list by the Raiders on Friday. He's still recovering from the broken right leg he sustained in college last year, but he should be ready for practices soon. If he gets up to speed quickly, he'll battle for action in the Raiders' shaky backfield.

Michael Bush agreed to an undisclosed contract with the Raiders on Wednesday, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. He sat out offseason workouts, but he is expected to be fully ready for camp. With Dominic Rhodes suspended and LaMont Jordan coming off a disappointing season, Bush could potentially work his way into part of the workload in Oakland.
