The Raiders are expected to sign fullback Jason Davis from the Bears' practice squad after losing Justin Griffith for the remainder of the season due to a torn ACL, according to the SF Chronicle.

Jason Davis has been added to the Bears' practice squad after being cut loose by the Eagles, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Davis said, "I don't think they wanted a true fullback. It's nice to get this opportunity for a fresh start with new faces and a new system. I'm wiping the slate clean and I've gotten another opportunity."

According to the Philadelphia Eagles team website, Luke Lawton and rookie Jed Collins will compete with Jason Davis for the starting fullback role. Davis, who signed as a rookie free agent out of Illinois, spent the entire 2006 season on injured reserve after a preseason knee injury.
