DeDe Dorsey will sit out the Bengals' regular season finale against the Dolphins because of a high ankle sprain suffered on the first play of Cincy's win over the Browns in Week 16, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

DeDe Dorsey and Clifton Dawson were cut by the Colts Saturday, which means Kenton Keith will start the year as the primary backup to Joseph Addai.

The Colts would prefer not to give Joseph Addai the same kind of workload they used to give Edgerrin James, who averaged 312 carries per year in seven seasons as a Colt. That means DeDe Dorsey, Clifton Davis, or Kenton Keith need to step up. Dorsey is currently the front-runner, though he produced just 15 yards on six carries in the preseason opener. "Instead of playing like I normally do, I was trying to play too fast and too hyper," Dorsey told the Indianapolis Star. "Second half, I kind of relaxed and had a decent run."
