The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports that Jason Hill has been working at split end in Mike Martz's offense.

The 49ers have signed Jason Hill, their third-round selection out of Washington State. The Marin Independent Journal reports it is a four-year deal. The team has spoken highly of Hill since selecting him, but he’ll have to have an impressive training camp to get into the starting lineup by Week 1. He is a sneaky long-term sleeper, however.
