Alan Branch has been ruled out of Monday's game against the 49ers. He suffered a fracture in his left hand on Thursday, and doctors ruled that Branch could make the issue worse by playing, the Arizona Republic reports. He will be re-evaluated on Tuesday.

The Cardinals have inked a deal with the first pick of the second round. The team signed Alan Branch to a four-year contract, although financial terms are not yet available, according to the Arizona Republic. Many were surprised to see Branch fall out of the first round of the draft, but questions about his attitude plagued him throughout the process. He'll add some depth to the team's front line and could be a starter in the near future if his attitude isn't a problem.
