Fred Jackson, who stands at 811 rushing yards this season, will be making a conscious effort to reach 1,000 yards this season, according to the Bills' official site. "It would be a good way to finish the season," Jackson said. "With us not being able to go to the playoffs that's definitely something that's in striking distance."

Fred Jackson was a standout for Buffalo in Sunday's 17-10 loss to New England at Ralph Wilson Stadium, as he gained 80 rushing yards on 15 carries. He also caught five passes for 32 receiving yards.
