Coach Herm Edwards announced on Wednesday that Tony Gonzalez is expected to play today against Denver, according to the Topeka Capital-Journal. Gonzalez, who is questionable on the injury report with a shoulder injury, was originally expected to miss 2-3 weeks with the injury.

Tony Gonzalez missed another practice Thursday with his shoulder injury and remains unlikely to play Sunday against the Raiders. Gonzalez is officially listed as doubtful but he's not expected to be on the field in any respect. He won't get too much extra rest time for Week 12, as the Chiefs are facing a Thanksgiving night game with Denver. The initial timetable on Gonzalez's shoulder injury last weekend was 2-3 weeks. Herm Edwards is maintaning that there's a chance Gonzalez could play on a limtied basis this week, but the prudent fantasy play is to get someone else for Week 11.

ESPNews is reporting that Tony Gonzalez is out 2-3 weeks with a shoulder injury. The injury occurred on Sunday against the Dolphins. Jason Dunn and Kris Wilson could both see action while Gonzalez is out.
