Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez said he is 95% sure he will be back next season, but it's entirely possible he could stick around much longer, according to Pro Football Weekly. Gonzalez is 32 years old and stands to make a lot of money in the next few years, and he has never won a playoff game in his career, which he obviously would like to do.

The Sporting News reports that Tony Gonzalez helped a choking man on Thursday, possibly saving his life. Gonzalez was dining in Huntington Beach, Calif., when across the room a fellow diner, Ken Hunter, began to choke on a bite of steak. Gonzalez performed the Heimlich maneuver and cleared the passage way for the man to breath. "I just did what my natural instincts told me to do, help someone in need. I couldn't just sit there and do nothing. The man was in distress and he needed help quickly."

Reports out of Kansas City indicate the Chiefs are giving a noteworthy focus to two-tight end sets in offensive workouts, according to Pro Football Weekly. PFW reports both Tony Gonzalez and rookie Brad Cottam are spending time in snaps with the team's starting unit, and both are getting plenty of targets.

Tony Gonzalez left for California on Tuesday and will remain away from the team through the weekend. He has a good reason. Gonzalez and his wife are expecting the birth of their second child, a daughter, the Kansas City Star reports.

Future Hall of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez led all AFC receivers in Sunday's 42-30 Pro Bowl loss to the NFC. Gonzalez recorded four receptions for 79 yards. The all time tight end leader in receptions will be 32 next year, well past the point when most tight ends start showing a serious statistical decline.
