While reports and rumors swirl that the Cowboys are taking a strong look at veteran receiver Joe Horn, the beat reporters in town believe Terry Glenn may be back in the fold and close to a new deal, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Newsday reporter Bob Glauber speculated on ESPN’s First Take show, that Bill Parcells could be interested in Dallas receiver Terry Glenn, if he were to be released by the Cowboys.

Terry Glenn talked with ESPN.com again, and he expressed a desire to work out his issues with owner Jerry Jones. "I want Jerry to understand that I know he has the ultimate power in everything that goes on with the Cowboys, and I'm not trying to challenge him in any way, shape or form," Glenn says. "But what I want is to remain a Cowboy. I've been here for five years and I've made Dallas my home, and I would love nothing more than to be a Dallas Cowboy... I'm not trying to be at odds with Jerry. These words and comments coming from me were strictly frustration." The receiver has been reluctant to sign an injury waiver. Ed Werder's report also notes that the amount of the waiver has been fluctuating.

Terry Glenn told ESPN's Ed Werder that he wants to be released if owner Jerry Jones continues to bar him from preparing for the season by attempting to force him to sign an injury waiver. "I'm not signing any waiver," said Glenn, who said he wants to move on with his career if the Cowboys no longer want him.

Terry Glenn is not attending the Cowboys' mandatory minicamp today, according to ESPN.com. Glenn did not undergo a physical Monday at Valley Ranch as he and the Cowboys continue to fight over an injury settlement. Owner Jerry Jones wants Glenn to agree to accept a $500,000 injury settlement if he cannot play this season. Glenn's base salary is $1.74 million.
