Keyshawn Johnson announced his retirement on Wednesday. “I’ve wavered time and time again,” Johnson stated during a press conference recapped by ESPN.com. “I’ve lived my dream. Now, I’m going to live another dream. I think today is not as emotional as the last two weeks, thinking about it. There were times there were sleepless nights, wondering if this was the right thing to do.” Johnson has accepted an analyst position with ESPN.

Keyshawn Johnson has declined an offer from the Titans and has decided to retire, according to John Clayton of ESPN.com. A press conference is expected to come Wednesday afternoon. Johnson, who turns 35 in July, reportedly wants to get into broadcasting.

Keyshawn Johnson and the Titans apparently are interested in discussing a free-agent contract. "There's mutual interest I'd say right now," coach Jeff Fisher told the AP. "I think we'll probably look into the possibility of pursuing things. Where that goes, I can't tell you." He'll meet with the Titans on Friday and would give Vince Young a reliable receiving target, should he sign.

After failing to acquire Randy Moss via trade, the Packers are considering the possibility of signing free agent wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson , according to Friday’s Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. The Panthers released Johnson on Monday.

Keyshawn Johnson, who was cut by the Panthers on Monday, has expressed some interest in playing for the Chargers, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune. However, the feelings are not mutual, as the team has told agent Jerome Stanley that they are not interested.

The Giants may have some interest in Keyshawn Johnson, the New York Daily News reports. At the least, head coach Tom Coughlin hasn't ruled out a possible signing. The Giants brought in Johnson for a visit last year, but Keyshawn eventually signed with the Panthers.

The Panthers cut Keyshawn Johnson on Tuesday, according to the ESPN.com. "They said they wanted to get younger," Johnson told the newspaper. "That's fine with me. I'd like to go somewhere and help someone win another Super Bowl." The Panthers deemed Johnson expendable after drafting Dwayne Jarrett of USC in the second round. Johnson caught 70 passes for the Panthers in 2006, tallying 815 yards and four TDs.

Keyshawn Johnson said that he is not familiar with new offensive coordinator Jeff Davidson, and he has yet to make a decision on his future, according to the Charlotte Observer. Johnson previously stated that he would retire if former offensive coordinator Dan Henning was fired, but he later softened his stance.
