Falcons re-sign DE Davis to four-year deal Flowery Branch, GA (Sports Network) - The Atlanta Falcons agreed to terms
with defensive end Chauncey Davis on a four-year contract.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
"Chauncey will continue to add toughness and consistency to our defense," said
General Manager Thomas Dimitroff. "We are always pleased to extend our core
players who represent well on and off the field."
The four-year veteran registered 38 tackles, four sacks and three fumble

Although in a limited capacity, Roddy White (knee) returned to Falcons practice on Friday, and is expected to play and start this weekend, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Roddy White missed practice on Thursday with a knee injury, according to NFL writer Adam Caplan. White is still likely to play this week against the Redskins.
