Jags re-sign DE Wyche Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - The Jacksonville Jaguars re-signed oft-
injured defensive end James Wyche to a new contract on Tuesday. Per club
policy, length and terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 26-year-old Wyche has missed the last two campaigns due to injures.
The 6-foot-5, 275-pounder was sidelined for the entire 2008 season with a knee
ailment sustained in the preseason, and placed on injured reserve in 2007
after suffering a groin injury in the final preseason contest against the
Washington Redskins.
Updating a previous report, Aaron Kampman's new four-year deal with the Jaguars is worth $26 million with $11 million guaranteed, according to Michael C. Wright on Twitter.
Updating an earlier report, Kassim Osgood agreed to a three-year deal with the Jaguars worth $6.675MM, according to the Florida Times-Union. It includes a $2.2MM signing bonus.
