Jets ink free agent S Leonhard, re-sign FB Richardson
Florham Park, NJ (Sports Network) - The New York Jets agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent safety Jim Leonhard and re-signed fullback Tony Richardson to a one-year deal on Tuesday.

Terms of Leonhard's contract were not disclosed, but according to the NFL Network, the deal is for three years. Richardson signed for $500,000.

Leonhard, a four-year pro, appeared in 16 games, including 13 starts for Baltimore last season. A key member of the No. 2 ranked Ravens defense in 2008, the Wisconsin product had 85 tackles, one interception and a sack, to go ... More...
