Johnathan Holland, WR Sunday 5/11, 9:03 PM CT
According to the Contra Costa Times, after saying Friday that wide receiver Johnathan Holland had been held out of practice by the training staff, Kiffin said Sunday Holland actually was not eligible for the rookie minicamp because he spent last season on injured reserve, as opposed to the Physically Unable to Perform list.
Darren McFadden, RB Saturday 5/10, 8:46 AM CT
Darren McFadden didn't handle the ball very much during minicamp, but did look good in limited work, according to the Oakland Tribune. McFadden made a couple of nice bursts up the middle and once was trapped on the outside before breaking free (as defenders are not allowed to make tackles).
Michael Bush, RB Saturday 5/10, 8:38 AM CT
Michael Bush looked good during minicamp, according to the Oakland Tribune. Bush reportedly ran with a smooth athleticism, and looked natural catching a pass over the middle and pulling away from a linebacker. He burst through holes, and moved very well for a 250-pound back.
Edgerton Hartwell, LB Wednesday 5/7, 4:13 PM CT
The Oakland Raiders signed free-agent linebacker Edgerton Hartwell, hoping he can revive a career beset by injuries in recent seasons, according to ESPN. The 30-year-old Hartwell played only 13 games in 2005 and '06 with Atlanta because of injuries to his knee and Achilles tendon. He was cut by Cincinnati before the start of last season and sat out the entire year.
Dominic Rhodes, RB Wednesday 5/7, 4:05 PM CT
Running back Dominic Rhodes has rejoined the Indianapolis Colts, signing a one-year deal with the team he helped lead to a Super Bowl championship, according to the Indianapolis Star. Rhodes, a free agent after being recently released by the Oakland Raiders, will receive approximately $650,000.
Dominic Rhodes, RB Wednesday 5/7, 10:26 AM CT
Running back Dominic Rhodes enjoyed his most productive Sundays with the Indianapolis Colts. And now that Rhodes is looking for work, it is likely that he'll land back in Indianapolis, according to NFL.com. Per Adam Schefter, Rhodes and the Colts are expected to reach agreement on a deal that will enable him to back up featured running back Joseph Addai.
Dominic Rhodes, RB Tuesday 5/6, 8:12 AM CT
Free agent Dominic Rhodes could be invited for a visit by the Broncos, according to ESPN Insider.
Daunte Culpepper, QB Thursday 5/1, 5:38 PM CT
Daunte Culpepper was rumored to be considering signing a deal with the Packers but it doesn't look like that will happen, according to the Green Bay Press Gazette. The report states that Culpepper still believes he is a starter and that his skills don't match up with what the Packers are trying to do on offense.
