Joe Thornton scored for his second straight game Tuesday after failing to light the lamp over the first 11 games of the year. Thornton's overall numbers still don't look bad, however (2-13-15).

In his first game back in Boston since being traded, Joe Thornton lasted less than six minutes Tuesday night after he was ejected for checking defenseman Hal Gill into the boards from behind, according to the AP.
