Joe Thornton has just one assist in his last four games, his least productive stretch of the season, the AP reports. Perhaps it's a good time to get Thornton on the cheap, as he's the type of player who can explode with a point barrage at any time.

Joe Thornton signed a three-year, $21.6 million extension with the Sharks on Sunday, according to the CP. "It was a no-brainer, I love it in San Jose," Thornton said. "It's perfect for me."
