Kevyn Adams is expected to return to action on Sunday, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. When he tore the ACL and MCL in his left knee back in November, it appeared that he'd probably miss the remainder of the season, but it looks like he'll be back with about a month to play.

Kevyn Adams tore the ACL and MCL in his left knee during Wednesday's game. He's slated to undergo surgery once the swelling goes down at some point during the next couple of weeks, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Realistically, he's done for the season, though there's a slim chance he could help out if the Blackhawks make the postseason.

The Coyotes sent Kevyn Adams to the Blackhawks Sunday in exchange for Radim Vrbata. Adams was acquired in January from the Hurricanes and played 33 games with Phoenix last season, notching eight points. Vrbata set career highs in points (41) and assists (27) last year in Chicago.
