The Hurricanes activated Kevyn Adams from the injured list on Saturday, according to the AP. He had missed six games with a wrist injury. Adams has two goals and two assists in 34 games this season.

Kevyn Adams will undergo a procedure on his right wrist Tuesday and miss one to two weeks, according to CarolinaHurricanes.com. The nine-year veteran has been slow to recover after breaking the wrist in June during the finals.

The champion Hurricanes have yet to win thus far, and it appears to be getting to the team. Kevyn Adams suffered a cut above his left eye when he fought with teammate Bret Hedican during a practice called on what had been an off day Sunday, according to the News & Observer. It looks like Adams should be fine for their next game, though.
