Hal Gill joined his teammates for the morning skate Tuesday, the first time he practiced with them since sustaining a right hand injury on Oct. 20, but he was held out of the lineup again for the game against the Sharks, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Coach Michel Therrien called the defenseman "closer" to being able to return.
