Zdeno Chara has started rehabbing his left shoulder, according to the Boston Herald. He underwent left shoulder surgery six weeks ago to repair a torn labrum. Hes doing daily range-of-motion exercises, and its estimated that he faces three more months of rehab, which would take him into September and the start of training camp. He couldnt state whether hed be ready from the get-go, but it shouldnt be too long after that if he isnt. He said, "Well have to see how the rehab goes, but it should be right for the start of training camp. Obviously I want to be careful with everything."

Zdeno Chara did in fact undergo the knife to fix his injured shoulder, according to the Boston Globe. Chara should be able to return for the start of training camp.

After being nominated for the Norris trophy Zdeno Chara learned that he faces surgery on the shoulder that limited him for much of the final quarter of the season, this according to the Boston Herald. I dont know for sure, but it looks like it, said Chara.
