Zdeno Chara has agreed to play with Farjestad of the Swedish Elite League in light of the NHL lockout, according to TSN.CA.

The Senators avoided arbitration with star defenseman Zdeno Chara by inking him to a multi-year deal. Chara was Norris Trophy finalist last season when he was a plus-33 and recorded 41 points (16 goals, 25 assists) in 79 games.
