Zdeno Chara skipped Sunday's preseason game as a precaution. "He'll be fine," coach Claude Julien said, according to the Boston Globe. "If there's anything in Z's situation, we were overly cautious with him. He will definitely be ready for Friday's game." The huge defenseman has been nursing a sore shoulder, but he should be set when the season opens.
