There's a chance that Tomas Kaberle could return to action tonight, but it seems unlikely, according to the Star Ledger. "We'd be very optimistic hoping for Tuesday," Maurice told Toronto reporters Saturday night. "That wouldn't be out of the realm, but very realistically, we'd have to say the weekend. He's getting better every day. We've pushed him hard for a couple of days now and he's been good. We're hoping he's getting real close now to a return." Kaberle is recovering from a concussion.

There's an outside chance Tomas Kaberle will be ready to play Tuesday, but a more realistic proposition would be for Kaberle to return on Friday, according to the Toronto Star. "We'd be very optimistic hoping for Tuesday (against New Jersey)," Leafs coach Paul Maurice said. "That wouldn't be out of the realm, but very realistically, we'd have to say the weekend (against Buffalo)." Kaberle is coming back from a concussion.

Tomas Kaberle will undergo another series of tests today, after which he hopes to gain clearance to resume practicing with the Leafs, according to the Toronto Star. Kaberle is recovering from a concussion. "I feel okay. I don't feel myself yet but I don't feel any headaches or anything like that and that's a good sign for me," he said.

Tomas Kaberle rode a stationary bike yesterday, his first physical activity since sustaining a concussion last week, according to the Toronto Star. "He felt good, so that's a positive for us. Today was his first bit of physical exertion, and if he can continue to do that for a week or so, we'll be looking for him to come back in to the lineup," coach Paul Maurice said.

After spending Friday night in a hospital with a concussion, Tomas Kaberle returned to Toronto on Saturday, according to the Toronto Star. He's out indefinitely with the concussion, as well as back and neck spasms, though a loose timetable might be about 10 days.

Tomas Kaberle was taken off the ice on a stretcher after being blind-sided by a late hit by New Jersey tough guy Cam Janssen in the second period Friday night, according to the AP. Kaberle lay on the ice for a couple of minutes before he sat up. A neck brace was attached and then he was placed on a stretcher and wheeled off the ice. A Maple Leafs spokesman said Kaberle was alert after being taken off the ice and that he was being taken to a hospital for observation.
