Arron Asham scored his fifth and sixth goals of the season as the New Jersey Devils beat the Ottawa Senators 3-2 on Saturday night. The Devils are on the heels of the Senators in the Eastern Conference. Despite the two goal performance, Asham has no fantasy value.

Devils defenseman Arron Asham missed his second straight game Wednesday night because of a hand injury, according to the AP.

Arron Asham has been bothered by damaged ligaments in two fingers on his left hand and a bad right wrist, the result of two fights he had back in late December. He had surgery on the same wrist last summer but may require another procedure in the offseason. "I did some damage to my fingers and wrist area. The whole hand is bothering me still," Asham said in the Star Ledger. "A lot of times I like to fight, but there is no sense going in 70 percent. I'd either hurt my hand or get knocked out. I'll probably get my wrist looked at at the end of the year and see if I did any more damage. My fingers just need rest. My fingers got twisted when I grabbed onto the jersey during a fight."
