Nabokov said, "I try not to be too disappointed because you really have no control over these things when other people are voting. The San Jose Sharks are looking at goalie Evgeni Nabokov , a Vezina Trophy candidate and often-stout tender that brings the Sharks to the top of their game, to step it up and take the lead as Sharks host the Dallas Stars in the Western Conference semifinals tonight, according to the Mercury News. The Stars lead the series 1-0, coming off a 3-2 OT win in Game 1 that led both Nabokov and winger Devin Setoguchi to question the team's heart. After skipping on the post-game news conference, Nabokov stated, "I just didn't have much to say. Sometimes you just have to let it go. I don't think we played a bad game. We just didn't have that extra... I don't know what the word is." Setoguchi stepped in to offer the word, "Drive."
