Marty Turco is expected to get the nod against the Avalanche Friday. He's been a little off his game of late, including the bizarre 6-5 overtime loss at Los Angeles last week, when the Stars blew a 4-0 lead with less than eight minutes to go.

Marty Turco was held out of Saturday's game against the Blackhawks. "Just a sore leg," coach Dave Tippett said, according to the Dallas Morning News. "I don't think it's something that's going to hold him out." Tobias Stephan started in place of Turco, who should be back in action soon.

Dave Tippett hasn't decided yet on a starter for Sunday's game with San Jose, the Dallas Morning News reports. Slumping No. 1 goalie Marty Turco has just one win in his last seven starts, and backup Mike Smith (8-4 record, 2.05 goals-against average) has played well when pressed into action.
