Bryce Salvador agreed to a 4-year contract extension with the Devils worth $11.6 million on Tuesday, according to TSN. The Devils also resigned Jay Pandolfo, David Clarkson and Barry Tallackson.

Bryce Salvador missed his sixth straight game Friday with a leg injury, according to the AP. The defenseman has been non-existent since arriving in New Jersey at the trade deadline, failing to score a point while having an even rating in eight games.

The Devils added some blueline depth by acquiring Bryce Salvador from the Blues Tuesday in exchange for forward Cam Janssen. Salvador doesn't do much offensively but is sound on the other end. He leads the Blues with a plus-12 rating this season.
