The Devils added some blueline depth by acquiring Bryce Salvador from the Blues Tuesday in exchange for forward Cam Janssen. Salvador doesn't do much offensively but is sound on the other end. He leads the Blues with a plus-12 rating this season.

Bryce Salvador skated Monday after sitting out Sunday's contest with back spasms. It appears as though he'll return to the lineup tonight. "I was really encouraged," Salvador said in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "The best way to explain it is like a charley horse in my back. It's now at the point where I can play with it." Salvador is a solid plus-13 this year for the Bluenote, but he offers little else in fantasy.
