Petteri Nummelin is expected to replace Nick Schultz at defenseman, according to the Star Tribune. Nummelin has only played in 26 games this season, but scored eight points, with one game-winning goal.

Petteri Nummelin played over 14 minutes Saturday, his first game in a month after suffering a head injury. He finished the night minus-2, and had three shots on goal.
