Jody Shelley is dealing with a lower-body injury and is not expected to play in this week's games against the Bruins (Tuesday) or Penguins (Wednesday), according to the Mercury News.

Tough guy Jody Shelley was rewarded with a two year contract for his work with the Sharks, according to the Mercury News. The deal is for $725,000 for each of the next two years. "He is one of the most respected players in our room because of his team-first attitude and his willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done," Sharks General Manager Doug Wilson said.
